donna's birthday-- our plans were somewhat thwarted by waking up at 3 pm (went to bed at 7 am). but we are going out to eat and to a movie with dave. i have presents, i gave her one last night but i still have several. i kind of overdid it. i like giving presents. last night i gave her the red christmas lights she wanted. i also got more white ones for myself so now my room is more twinkley.
last night was scary. the first time i was scared, and it surprised me. a trusted friend came over and told us what happened and it terrified me. after we all talked for a while and heard the whole story it turned out to be ok, not dangerous really, just someone being stupid. more precautions. now i understand why.
this morning (3 pm) i was peacefully eating breakfast when c. came up, he was a complete wreck and wanted me to shoot him, half kidding. he was wearing sunglasses and said he had chills. i can't tell how bad his drug problem is, he's pretty smart but he really can't control himself, it's sad. but he hung out for a while and felt better. he picked up some food for us and did our dishes, which he said is like church because it's meditative.
in between people coming and going i've been doing my homework, i finished a book for anthro but i have another one to read for tomorrow. i'm tired. i need to make my sleep schedule normal again so i don't miss class.
i have new mittens!
