my mother is making polenta with bell peppers and onions. it's cold today. i spent the day reading the paper and eating cereal. gabe came over at 4 am last night after ben's party, and today i woke him up and took him to the bus and gave him money so he could go to work. being involved in gabe's life is like standing on the edge of chaos.
