my manager at work is on vacation and we've been having so much fun. everyone i work with is awesome. we do crazy shit like throw bread dough into the fan. deliveries have been slow so when i'm in the store i do crossword puzzles. i finished one today! just before close it started raining, and there was a delivery for sex world, so i had to go out in the rain. when i was turning off hennipen my phone rang and it was my dad, and i answered it mid-ride and talked to him for the rest of the way there. riding a bike to sex world in the rain talking on the phone to your dad. yeah.

i want one of those stripped down bikes with a fixed back wheel-- one gear, no brakes, you back pedel to stop. and no fenders or anything, just the bike. all the cool bicycle messangers have bikes like that, and so do jordon and cory. except i can't try anyone's because i'm too short for tall boy bikes, so i don't know if i'd really like it. and i like my old bike decked out with shiny fenders, 10 speeds, brakes, and a crate on the back. hum. the two extremes.

at work we listened to the new bright eyes cd that leon got. i ordered it off the record label, on vinyl, so i won't get it for a few weeks. having heard it once, i don't think it's as good as fevers and mirrors. except for the first song, which i love-- i heard him play it live a bunch of times and became obsessed with it, so i'm glad it's recorded now. but i'm excited to get mine. i ordered a tshirt too so i can be cool.
