yesterday i got a couch and a loveseat for free from a house down the street that was having a yard sale. �they helped me get the couches here but donna and i had to carry them up to our 3rd floor apartment. �we took the longer one first, and couldn't figure out how to get it around the corner and up the narrow stairs. �we got one of the downstairs neighbors to help us, and we all struggled with it for about an hour. �donna even took the door off with a screwdriver. �but it just wouldn't fit. �but we were able to get the loveseat up, and put it in the kitchen. (we don't have a living room.) i put a blue sheet over it, and it looks beautiful.
it was just in time for donna's friend dave, who is staying with us for a while. �his friend that he was living with kicked him out or something. �so he slept on the loveseat last night, his legs stuck out a lot but i guess it was comfortable. �dave is insane.
this morning i got caught up with my graphic design homework. �it didn't take as long as i thought. �it looks lovely outside, so i think i'll ride my bike somewhere now. �we left the big couch on the porch downstairs, and the neighbors have one there too. �so when it's warm we can all sit around on our porch couches. �it'll be nice in the summer.
