baby let your hair hang down

i had a good night... my anthropology class was canceled, although i was not notified so i showed up for class and was confused... but then i took the bus home and stopped at the store to get donna some food, since she was really hungry when i left and i didn't think she or dave had the energy to get groceries. i got her some of her favorite things: crackers, grapefruit juice, spicy stewed tomatoes, and chocolate and champaigne for us to share. she appreciated the food and everyone was in a good mood... we went down to chris's apartment and played with his cats and ate his amazing homemade cranberry sauce. dave and chris have a recording studio set up and they were recording everyone in the room, they made a loop of donna saying "i love walnuts!"

then james came over unexpectadly and donna and i hung out with him for a long time in my room. we talked and hung things on the walls and listened to music. it's nice to have a new person around who's interesting. i gave him some mittens i had that were too big. he told me how to take care of my plants and watered them for me.

tomorrow everyone is going to cook things and we're going to have a big dinner, it'll be cute... i'm glad i have so many beautiful people surrounding me... i am profoundly exhausted, i think i'm going to bed.
