it's sooooooooooo hot. i was cleaning the house naked, filling up bags with all the empty beer cans and bottles in the living room and throwing away trash and vacuuming up the broken glass, and washing all the dishes. but then gabe said people were coming over so i put on my bikini. but i'm still sweating.
last night we tried to turn the light on and all the power went out, and we couldn't get it back on. so we had no light or fans and the fridge was off. everyone besides me took it as an opportunity to drink all the beer before it got warm. but today it came back on.
gabe and i wandered around today, we visited jade at work and tried on clothes at via's, and ate at a thai restaurant. or, gabe ate and i stole bites. i'm broke. i have $20 but i'm trying to make it last.
the kittens stopped hiding under the couch yesterday, when we lured them out with a dish of milk. then they became extremely friendly, following me around and meowing and climbing all over us in bed. they're so cute and small. there's nothing better than kittens and summer nights.
